Way North Lodge is located on South Trout Lake. This lake is five miles long with beautiful densely wooded forest and pristine shorelines. South Trout is a crystal clear spring fed lake, which in early spring or late fall can provide you with some of the best Trout fishing.

Don't let the name fool you - this lake is also home to some of Way North's largest caught Walleye and Northern. If you did not get enough fishing in during the day, after dinner most of Way North's guests try their hand on South Trout and fish until dark.
