Fly-out Tent Camp Moose Hunt

This type of hunt will give you a true wilderness experience like no other. You will actually be spending your hunting vacation situated miles from any civilization and in the deep wilderness on North Western Ontario.

Due to the remote location of the hunt and the absense of any hunting pressure, your chances of getting a really big moose are much greater. It's not uncommon to see Moose in the 1300-pound range.

The guide, prior to your arrival to Way North Lodge, will build a tent camp on one of the many fly-out lakes in the area. This will be your home away from home for the duration of your hunting vacation. The lake that your guide chooses is very remote and if seclusion is what you are looking for then you will definitely have it here. You will encounter miles and miles of un-touched shorelines and swampy areas to locate and harvest "The Moose" you have always wanted.

Our hunts take place in WMU 1C. We receive 6 Bull tags and 3 Cow tags every year. Our Moose tags are for rifle hunting only. The season starts mid September, which is the peak of the rut, and runs for 2 weeks. Due to our northern location, we have to fly hunters out before the lake freezes and before the weather starts getting bad.
